On September 3rd 1939, World War II had begun. In what was to become one of the bloodiest battles ever known to man, Axis and Allied powers clashed once more, with each side determined to fight the battle until the bitter end.

Setting their sights on the British Isles, the German Kriegsmarine was determined to cut off the precious shipping lanes which were not only essential in providing the supplies necessary for Britain's survival but also the key to the Allies'success in Europe. In the great conflict that was to follow, millions of lives would be lost... To be vanished forever below the dark, cold waters of the Atlantic.

However, their sacrifice will not be forgotten. This site is dedicated to all the brave sailors who fought The Battle of the Atlantic, who braved against the incredible odds of war and nature. Finally, to those courageous men who fought until the bitter end, never to return home.
